Eat as much as you want and lose weight. Is this a true statement? Well as a matter of fact it is a true statement.
A clinical trail study conducted at the University of Aukland in New Zealand found that people allowed to eat
as much as the want actually lost weight. The secret is that this happened as long as they limited calories
from fat to not more than 20 percent of total calories. I don't know about you but living on a diet of fruit
and vegetables is not my idea of a day at the beach. If it is for you, skip this section and read the next one.

Note I do not advocate a lifestyle where you eat whatever and drink whatever you want and then go on a diet until
you bring your weight back in line. But when you need it here is the information on what to do.
- Eat your main meal at breakfast and you smallest meal at dinner. Tough one for many people.
The average American consumes 46% of their calories after 5 PM and 71% of Americans are overweight.
Get it? We didn't say this was easy. We said we would give you the answers.
- Graze. This means eat a larger number of smaller meals during the day as opposed to being
famished and eating a large quantity of food at one time. Tufts University in Boston found that people
who consume 1000 calories at a meal or more burn 60 less calories per day than those who ate 250-500
per meal - EVEN THOUGH THEY CONSUMED THE SAME NUMBER OF CALORIES.
- Don't snack on high fat foods - you know what this means.
- Don't eat before bedtime. Reread number 1.
- Supplements - did you know that the high calorie foods avoided by most dieters contain a
number of very important nutrients including: boitin, pantothenic acid, B6, B12, magnesium,
potassium, chromium, selenium and zinc. These need to be replaced.
- Drink plenty of water because unless the body is fully hydrated it cannot convert carbohydrates
to energy. When exercising and /or drinking large quantities of water, it is important to supplement
the body's requirement for minerals.
- Exercise - now would be a perfect time to reread the section titled Physical Strength.
Additionally like the grazing program for eating, it is better to exercise frequently, even if
it is 5 or 10 minutes, than to consistently rely on a schedule where you force yourself through
some 45-60 minute routine. First it is real easy to talk yourself out of a long exercise routine.

In addition to helping you achieve your weight loss goals, exercise most likely will strengthen you
cardiovascular, muscular and skeletal systems. Five years ago I was in a car accident that resulted
in a measure of permanent damage to my spinal system. I consistently went to a reputable chiropractor
for adjustments and it helped. What really helped was the education the doctor gave me on the right
kind of exercises that were likely to alleviate the daily pain. As this is written, I can tell you
that I feel a three action steps: a,) regular visits to my chiropractor, b.) doing the right exercises
for my back at the gym 3-4 times per week and using a number of essential oils has resulted in a level
of strength and stamina that usually is greater than the discomfort from pain.
